How to Make a Looped Blanket Stitch Flower

When I saw the looped blanket stitch, I just knew I needed to learn how to make a looped blanket stitch flower.  Isn’t it gorgeous?  It’s not an embroidered flower that you could put on clothing, but it would sure make a good wall hanging or decoration.  I used three different colors of thread to make it look even more special, and I love how it turned out.

How to Make a Looped Blanket Stitch Flower

The looped blanket stitch can be a little more difficult to work.  The loops are secured by stitches in the back, so it can be a little fragile.  Follow my video tutorial below, and you’ll be well on your way to make a looped blanket stitch flower.
