Embroidery Stitch Sampler 2 Pattern
I’ve been doing the same basic embroidery stitches for a while now, and I’ve been wanting to try something new. Since my first free embroidery sampler pattern was so popular, I decided to create this embroidery stitch sampler 2. Make sure you’ve mastered all of the stitches in my first free embroidery sampler pattern first. These stitches are a little more advanced, and I’m honestly still mastering some of them myself.
(This post may contain affiliate links, which means I may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you, if you click a link and purchase something that I have recommended.)
To stitch this free embroidery sampler pattern, you’ll need:
- 7 inch embroidery hoop
- white linen fabric or a flour sack towel
- embroidery floss (colors listed on pattern)
- ultra fine point Sharpie
- embroidery transfer supplies (see my post on how to transfer an embroidery pattern)
- free pattern (instructions to download are at the bottom of this post)
The stitches you’ll learn are threaded running stitch, whipped backstitch, double threaded backstitch, couching, fly stitch, seed stitch, Danish knot, bullion rose, looped blanket flower, buttonhole wheel, turkey stitch flower, feather stitch, herringbone stitch, and the chevron stitch.
I created a video for each stitch and will be uploading them as I finish editing them on my YouTube channel.

I didn’t see anything about how many strands we should use for each stitch. Like all they all 6?
All use 6 strands of floss.
THANK YOU JESSICA!
Such an easy process to download, if you just read the instructions. I appreciate that. <3
I cannot find where to download the sampler anywhere. I subscribed and it takes me to the page of other embroidery patterns. Every time I go to the page it says to download, it keeps wanting me to subscribe again. I would love the 2 samplers, please.

I can’t seem to locate your video inbox the feather stitch? It’s not in then the playlist for your Sampler 2?
It hasn’t been posted yet. Working on it. 😀
Every single time I try to download a pattern it tells me to subscribe then you’ll make send me the link to the pattern. I’v subscribed100 times now, or so it feels feels like it, but I never get the link to the projects. I’m wanting the 2 stitch practice samplers and the unicorn. I wish there was an easier way to get the patterns like a password for subscribers. Thank you for listening. I do love your posts. I read every one.
Sorry you are having trouble. When you subscribe, you should have gotten and email with a confirmation link. After you click that link, another email should have come with a link to the downloads. Sometimes the emails get caught up in spam. Send me an email at cutesycrafts@hotmail.com, and I’ll get you to the patterns.
