If you’ve been embroidering for a while or like to quilt, undoubtedly you’ve run across my friend Bev’s blog called Flamingo Toes. She just released a book, and it’s got so many cute projects in it!

The book is called Retro Stitchery: Oh-So-Cute Embroideries with a Wink to the Past. Bev asked if I would be a part of her book release blog hop, so I got to pick a project from the book to do. I chose these adorable mini embroidery projects. These are the ones from the book.
And here are the ones I stitched up. Aren’t they cute?!
I loved stitching the different colors in this flower.
And you can’t go wrong with woven wheel roses!
Her book is full of all kinds of projects from embroidery hoops to home decor. I love the way she wrapped this hoop with fabric! I think I need to give this try!
Some sewing projects are shown in the book as well. This “home” pillow is SO cute with the pom-pom trim! It makes me want to embroider on something quilt-y.
Head over to Amazon to purchase the book, and be sure to check out Bev’s blog, Flamingo Toes, for more embroidery and sewing inspiration.
