I finally finished templates for another quiet book page. This one was giving me trouble with trying to get everything sized up just right. You can get the templates here. To see the whole book click here. There should be two of them. Hopefully when I upload them to google docs, everything stays the same size. Again, please let me know if they don’t. The holes that you cut in the main part of the house should be smaller than the window or door covering it. That way, you have room to sew on the window or door as well as the snap to close it. I used sew-on snaps, which were kind of hard for my three-year old’s hands to manage. Maybe you can find something easier? I also sewed a line through the middle of the house, under the windows, to keep the people from sliding down.
The templates are for 9×9 inch pages. Make sure to leave at least a quarter inch border when you sew your pieces onto the page, otherwise when you sew other pages to the backs of these, the stitching will go through them. Leave at least a half inch on the side that is going to have the holes for binding the pages together.
