It’s that time of year again, where it seems like the kids are constantly sick with one thing after another. I try to be vigilant about making the kids wash their hands after they’ve been at school or out in public. This has been especially important this year since it’s the baby’s first cold and flu season. There are always those times when we are out running errands when we don’t have access to soap and water, but we need to clean our hands. That’s when it’s nice to have Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes on hand. They kill 99.99% of bacteria with no mess involved. That’s a huge plus when the kids are concerned! To keep the wipes in a handy location in the car, I created this little car kit. It’s full of all sorts of things that are handy to keep in the car.
I went to Target to get the Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes. They have lots of different kinds and scents. From 12/27-1/23 you can get 15% Off Wet Ones Travel Packs or Wet Ones Big Ones using Cartwheel.
I picked up some travel wipes for on the go, and some sensitive wipes that I can even use for the baby.
My “mom’s survival kit” is filled with all kinds of things that I might need when I am out and about with the kids.
You can put anything in your kit. Here’s what I included in mine:
- Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes
- tissues
- travel size sunscreen
- travel size lint roller
- bandages
- clothing stain remover wipes
- chapstick
- snacks
I also included some plastic grocery bags and napkins. Because, you know… kids.
I put everything into this little bin that I found at Target. Of course, I couldn’t leave it plain white. I had to cute it up with some vinyl.
I cut it out on my Silhouette. Here’s a free cut file if you want it. Just cut it on your machine and transfer with some transfer tape. Simple and cute!
I love having this kit in the van! It slides perfectly under the center console, and everything is right there when I need it. The hand wipes make me feel a lot better about keeping germs off of my kids’ hands. Here’s to hoping the kids get sick less this season!
What would you include in your car kit? I’d love more ideas! Check out Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes at Target today!

I definitely need something like this in my car! I have such an active and curious little 4-year-old. Definitely can't afford to get sick this time of the year!
